Friendly hosts with engaging local knowledge.
Our experience was incredibly frustrating. Upon arrival, no one was present to check us in, forcing us to make multiple calls to get assistance. It seemed as if the owner lacked any familiarity with local dining options, and we felt quite neglected as we were left to figure things out on our own. Additionally, the limited public transport options made planning our excursions a hassle, especially when trying to visit the stunning Cairngorm Mountain.

charming experience but breakfast timing could be better
The room was spotlessly clean and had a cozy ambiance that made our family feel at home. Our hosts were genuinely friendly and accommodating, providing excellent local recommendations. Each breakfast was a delight, especially the variety of fresh produce served daily. The mountain view from our room added a peaceful touch to our mornings, enhancing our overall experience.
The breakfast timing felt a bit early for our family’s schedule.

Comfortable Stay with Family-Friendly Amenities
We enjoyed our stay in the spacious triple room. The added touch of basic groceries made us feel welcomed. While the light around the window shades might disrupt sensitive sleepers, it didn’t overshadow our great family experience. Remember to pack a sleeping mask if you're light-sensitive!

Hosts Jim and Lorraine made the experience remarkable with their warm hospitality and accommodating approach to our dietary needs, providing scrumptious scrambled eggs tailored for my breakfast. The location was peaceful yet conveniently near shops and restaurants, allowing easy access to local attractions. Freshly baked croissants added a delightful touch to the morning meals, making each breakfast a treat. However, the breakfast timing felt slightly restrictive, and a common sitting area would enhance the guest experience.

Had a great time here! I enjoyed the tasty breakfast options and the cozy room with a kettle and biscuits. It would be nice to have a sitting area for guests, but overall, it was a lovely stay! 😊
